Assuming you didn’t start your business yesterday, you’ve developed some clients. They have taken advantage of your services, but have you provided them everything they need? When was the last time you talked to them? What do you know about why they used your service?
It’s far easier to retain clients than it is to get new ones.
- Ask your current clients how you can better serve their needs. Do they need you to have a new product line or different times available for your service?
- Provide an exclusive thank you for current clients. Whether you simply send a thank you for their business with a token gift or you host a small soiree thanking them for their patronage.
- The most critical is to provide high standards in customer service. Follow the adage under promise and over deliver.
Talk to your clients regularly. Listen to what they have to say. And then implement the improvements.
